As I have gotten older, the feeling in my fingers and thumb have faded. I simply can’t hold on to a pick, thus I ordered the FlipPick.
It is very easy to set up and use. It solves the problem of me dropping the pick. There is going to be a learning curve on my end, because of the bad strumming habits I developed to compensate for dropping the pick all the time. Practice will help me use the FlipPick, and the develop the strumming motion I’ve lost.
Just what I needed! I was dropping so many picks it looked like someone barfed at my feet!
I decided to try the FlipPick when I was having difficulty holding my picks after a motorcycle accident caused a shoulder injury. My right hand occasionally goes numb (partially) when I'm playing. It took just a little experimentation with positioning to get the right feel, but now I've found it very helpful. I haven't used them long enough (only 1 gig so far) to determine how they hold up without breaking, but so far they're doing well! For my purpose, very useful.
The Flip Pick is awesome and is exactly what I've been needing. As I get older, my finger strength is not the same. Performing has been difficult, due to me dropping picks. Flip Pick addresses this issue and I am playing without that issue anymore. I could not be happier with Flip Pick!
